In December 2000 the Playford City Soccer Club Pty Ltd officially took up it's new home in the soccer clubrooms and facilities at Ramsay Park,
The Club achieved success in 2001 with victory in the West End Federation Cup, an FA styled competition open to Federation and non-federation Clubs in South Australia. The South Australian competition dates back to 1903 and the premier League is semi-professional. At the highest State -based level of competition, it is one rung below the National Soccer League (NSL).
Playford City Patriots are leaders in Junior development and Playford City Junior teams are extremely successful. At Playford junior development is the key, there are excellent coaches for all junior teams and the junior players are valued just as much as the senior players. It is a great club for a junior player to be at, the Junior development program at Playford is designed for every player to be able to get the best out of themselves.
2004 has been a great year for the Patriots. Junior teams have once again excelled but the seniors have also done well. The Under 14A squad won the cup and the Under 17A squad were league champions. All junior teams were right up there battling for the top spots. Success continued into the senior ranks with the Under 19's, coached by Tony Franklin, winning the league. The Under 23's, coached by Dave Joy, also had an excellent season, finishing third in the league. The Playford First Team, Coached by Ivan Zaffran, gave our club a real reason to be proud in the 2004 season. They were the leaders of the club and they lead by example. They were league champions, sealing the championship on the last game of the season with a 3-1 win over Adelaide Cobras.
